Summer novelties
Regarding the Activities :
Reopening of the museum
Popular with visitors and locals alike, the Musée de la Vie d’Autrefois, run by the ASPECTS association, has been completely renovated and reopened its doors this winter. Founded in 1977 by enthusiastic local residents, it is now situated in the heart of the Saint-Saturnin Church district, in a new building adjoining the former town hall (1682), which has also been restored. The museum showcases the village’s heritage (costumes, tools, old photographs, etc.) in modern, comfortable spaces, which are well worth a visit this summer.
Curved zip line
Good news for thrill-seekers: this summer, Saint Sorlin d’Arves will be opening a brand-new curved zip line, the only one of its kind in the Maurienne region. Set high above the village, it offers a fun and spectacular descent, combining speed, tight bends and breathtaking views. This new activity complements the resort’s range of leisure activities and promises wonderful memories for young and old alike.
New wellness treatments
Since this winter, Marie Bernard has been offering new ways to unwind: self-massage workshops, natural cosmetics workshops, nutrition workshops (digestion, immunity, etc.), and aguasofro.
Au niveau des hébergements :
The hotel is getting a makeover this summer
The terrace at the Les Cèdres hotel is being extended to offer visitors even greater comfort. A bike garage and repair station will be available for cycling enthusiasts, whilst a picnic service is on offer for hiking enthusiasts. Sports fans will be able to enjoy a lounge showing the Tour de France, and a parking area is also planned for motorbikes.
