Trail of Etendard

Do you like lakes? You'll pass by 12 remarkable lakes, including Lac Blanc, Lac Bramant and Lac de Grand Maison, as well as a loop passing at the foot of Pic de l'Etendard.

Four routes are available, from casual runners to experienced and trained runners (see new routes to download):

• The 17km Trail on Saturday 26 July (17km with 530m of ascent in Bourg d'Oisans). This first route will give runners a chance to discover the plain of Bourg d'Oisans, with a breathtaking view of the Oisans massif.

• The 25km Trail on Sunday 27 July (25km with 1,575m of ascent in the commune of Saint Sorlin). This second itinerary will showcase the high mountain side of Saint Sorlin, with a passage over the highest pasture in Europe and close to the Saint Sorlin glacier.

• The 45km Trail on Sunday 27 July (45km with a total ascent of 3,057m) will cross the Grandes Rousses massif from Bourg d'Oisans, passing at the foot of the Etendard Glacier and passing close to 12 remarkable lakes, including Lac Blanc, Lac Bramant and Lac de Grand Maison. The loop will pass at the foot of the Pic de l'Etendard, a majestic finale, before reaching the bottom of the village of Saint Sorlin d'Arves.

• The 65km Trail on Sunday 27 July (65km with 3,624m of positive ascent), which will cross the Grandes Rousses massif from Bourg d'Oisans, passing at the foot of the Étendard glacier and passing close to 12 remarkable lakes, including Lac Blanc, Lac Bramant and Lac de Grand Maison, and a loop passing at the foot of the Pic de l'Etendard, a majestic finale, before reaching the bottom of the village of Saint Sorlin d'Arves.
