Walks and hikes

With its many lakes and varied landscapes, Saint Sorlin d’Arves boasts a magnificent setting and plenty of walking trails. Below are some suggested walks and hikes around Saint Sorlin d’Arves :

-- La vallée des Prés Plans --
An easy, family-friendly round-trip walk that takes you to the old hamlet of Prés Plans, with its farms and chapel dating from 1630.
Start from the Gros Caillou hotel / restaurant (D5 on the map) and follow the signs for "Vieux village des Prés Plans". Suitable for pushchairs and people with reduced mobility.
-Duration : 1 ½–2 hours

-- Lake Laitelet --
A small lake by the roadside, very easy to reach (a 50-metre walk ; accessible to pushchairs and people with reduced mobility).
RD 926, 1 km downstream from the Col de la Croix de Fer.
An ideal spot for fishing and picnicking.

-- A walk around the small mountain lakes (Guichard, Potron and Laitelet) --
- Duration : 1 hour
