Trail Area – Route No. 11 – Verticale de l'Ouillon

Make the most of this route for a great uphill workout, with a climb of over 900m+. You’ll set off from the village of Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves (tourist office) and head for the summit of L’Ouillon, Europe’s highest mountain pasture. There you’ll be treated to a 360° panorama, with the Mont Blanc range, the Aiguilles d’Arves and the Belledonne massif as a backdrop. A real picture-postcard setting! The return journey can be made via the same route, or by continuing along the ridge to the Col de la Croix de Fer (follow the red ‘7’ markings) before descending back to Saint Sorlin (red ‘7’ markings).
