Come along on July 19, 2026 to watch the Tour de France stage pass by!
Amateur cyclists will ride down the Col de la Croix de Fer.
The Tour de France will then pass through Saint Sorlin d'Arves on July 25th.
" The 30th edition of the Stage of the Tour de France will be held on 10 July 2022 on the route of the 12th stage of the Tour de France, between Briançon and Alpe d'Huez, a 170 km route with a cumulative climb of 4,700 metres. The thousands of cyclosportifs who will have pinned on a race number will be invited to climb the Col du Galibier (2,642 m) after leaving Briançon, then plunge down to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne to tackle the Col de la Croix de Fer (2,067 m) and finally aim for "l'Alpe" immediately after crossing Bourg d'Oisans.
The route drawn between Briançon and Alpe d'Huez is an exact replica of the stage raced in the 1986 Tour de France and won by Bernard Hinault, crossing the finish line hand in hand with his teammate at La Vie Claire and future winner of the event Greg LeMond."
