Presentation
Join us on 23 July at the Col de la Croix de Fer for an unusual encounter with a flock of 2,000 sheep and their shepherd.
There'll be a barbecue on site, and a friendly, festive atmosphere!
Programme :
- 10.30am: Follow the herd, meet the shepherd,
his sheep and dogs
- 12.15pm: Barbecue at altitude (registration required, places are limited)
or packed picnic

⚠ Difficult parking
We recommend taking the chairlift up to the Col de la Croix de Fer:
- Choseaux chairlift - Special rate €8.50 (return ticket)
- Open from 9.30am to 4pm, purchase at Plan du Moulin from 9.15am
Access by hike possible in 1 hour from Saint Sorlin d'Arves.
Organised by the Saint Sorlin and Saint Jean d'Arves Tourist Offices.
