Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves

The Baroque church of Saint-Saturnin, numerous chapels and traditional houses in the 14 hamlets make up a mountain village with a rich heritage. Farming is still very much alive here, as evidenced by the Beaufort AOC cheese produced by the Coopérative Laitière de la Vallée des Arves. The Col de la Croix de Fer (2067 m), a mythical goal for cyclo-climbers, is also the starting point for family outings or races to the refuge de l'Étendard, the Trois Lacs and the Saint-Sorlin glacier.
