Winter:
You are in a high mountain off-piste area.
Access by ski touring or snowshoes from Saint Sorlin d'Arves.
Access via the ski lifts with a lift pass for the refuge.
Summer:
You are entering the land of the marmots! Look up to see the large birds of prey (eagles, vultures).
Easy access on foot in 2 hours from the Col de la Croix de Fer.
Access by mountain bike. Bikes can be recharged at the refuge.
Capacity during the guard stage: 70 spaces. 10 dormitories with 4 to 10 spaces.
Continuous catering during the guard stage. Generous Savoyard cuisine with mostly local and/or organic products.
Personalised welcome on site by the refuge guards.
Permanent restoration: specialties, pancakes and pies.
Personalized welcome on site by the caretakers.
