7am: Meet near Pascal and Jean-Michel’s mountain pasture at Lac Laitelet, below the Col de la Croix de Fer
Watch the milking, with commentary from the farmers, and find out how the mountain pasture operates and where the milk used to make Beaufort comes from!
Then enjoy breakfast to round off this convivial experience.
Continue your tour by visiting the co-operative to see how the milk that has been collected is turned into cheese.
