Presentation
The tourist offices of Saint Jean d'Arves, of Saint Sorlin d'Arves and of Corbier invite you to meet for "Alpine Pasturen Festival". A day in the alpine pasture to discover the agriculture of our mountains and meet the farmers and their herds.
A privileged moment of sharing and exchange with the dairy cow breeders of Saint Jean d´Arves! Discussion about their profession, their restraint, their passion, milking of the cows, the making of the Tomme cheese, the herd ...
Throughout the event: accordion, mascots of Saint Jean d´Arves (Arvi), of Saint Sorlin d´Arves (Sorlinette) and of the Corbier (Max des neiges), refreshment bar.
At noon, a barbecue will be served, limited places. No tables or benches on site.
The meeting point is at the top of the chairlift Charvin Express, in Saint Jean d'Arves. Meeting at 10 am on site. End of barbecue and entertainment at 2 p.m.
Access by chairlift or by hiking (between 1h15 and 1h30 walk) signposted access and directions available at the Tourist Office.
Chairlift ticket offices open at 9.15am, chairlift goes from 9.30am.

Wednesday 6 August 2025 between 10 am and 2 pm.

Free access. Free entertainment.
Barbecue at an additional cost, registration required at the Tourist Office. Refreshments on site.
Chairlift: 8.5€ (single rate) or 8 PP units, tickets on sale at ticket offices open at 9:15 a.m., Sybelles Express opens at 9:30 a.m.
