Presentation
From the village or the top of the chairlifts, head for the Col de la Croix de Fer at an altitude of over 2000 metres.
Take the famous Col de la Croix de Fer road, shared by skiers and pedestrians with snowshoes in winter, to reach the Col de la Croix de Fer at an altitude of 2067 metres.
A breathtaking view of the village and surrounding peaks awaits you on this gradual ascent, which is accessible to all.
La Panoramique is also accessible from the top of the Les Choseaux chairlift towards the village.
⚠ If you are using the ski lifts, you must have a valid lift pass beforehand.
Detailed route
From the roundabout at the top of the village, walk past the L'Auberge des Turins restaurant and continue on the track/road for almost 5km. When you reach the junction with the ‘Col de la Croix de Fer’ snowshoe trail, take the latter to the right to reach the pass. Return along the same path.
