Want to go on a family treasure hunt? Geocaching is for you.
The goal of the game is to find the treasures hidden by and for the players.
At Saint Sorlin d'Arves - Col de la Croix de Fer, we have created some Geocaches (treasures) to help you discover the emblematic places that characterize our territory.
How to play?
1- Log in to geocaching.com and choose the caches at Saint Sorlin d'Arves
2- Once on the page of the chosen cache, the site reveals to you the essential information for the good progress of the hunt: the geolocation of the object to be entered in your GPS, as well as precious clues which will help you in your research...
3- Put on your walking shoes, the treasure hunt is on! Let yourself be guided by the instructions of your GPS.
4- That's it, you discovered the famous hiding place! You will find a register of previous geocachers, well wrapped around the treasure. A moment of glory for the whole family, note your visit, followed by the mention "MPLC", Thank you for the Cache! However, beware of disappointments because some rare caches do not contain any objects.
5- You can leave with your find as a souvenir. Above all, don't forget to replace it with another object, whatever it may be, so as not to disappoint future geocachers. Small car, sticker, key ring, magnet, figurine... Each cache contains a unique treasure!
