The past life museum

This small museum was created in 1977 by the inhabitants of Saint Sorlin d'Arves. It was restored in 1985 - 1986 with funding from the Fonds d'intervention Culturel (Conseil Général and Savoie Vivante), donations from visitors and the financial participation of A.S.P.E.C.T.S.*, whose volunteer members arrange, maintain and keep it.

You can see the re-creation of a room in a traditional chalet, explanations on the different types of architecture, an old tools exhibition, and a summary of the history of the village and life in olden times.
