INFORMATION ROAD & STATE OF THE PASSES " LA CROIX DE FER" AND " GLANDON" RD926 ROAD WILL OPEN ON 15th december / Col de La Croix de Fer is closed CAUTION: Snowshowers are expected next saturday morning that's why motorists are asked to use snow chains. CAUTION: the departementale road 926 (between St Jean de Maurienne and St Sorlin d' Arves) is closed since May 2, 2006 for work with the tunnels. It will remain closed all the summer 2006 as well as the autumn and will open on 15th december 2006. The deviation installation since St Jean de Maurienne will make you pass by Albiez.Or then of other routes if you come from Allemont, you will pass by the Col de la Croix de Fer, or since St Colomban of Villards: passage by the Col du Glandon and Col de la Croix de Fer.
