The exterior of the church : the church of Saint Saturnin Saint Sorlin d'Arves was built in 1603 and enlarged in 1658. Can be seen on the left of the front two inscriptions which indicate.

The architect is unknown but we know that each church was built by Charles Borronnée architectural doctrines which were:
- The building must be located on a hillock and must be surrounded by its graveyard closed
- The facade is to be naked with a colorful uniform local (local = roughcast lime + sand)
undefinedThe only decorative elements are first out the door frame which consists of a arch and a pediment triangular interrupted and an arched window framed by rectangular windows, a niche housing the statue with inscription Saint Saturnin, protector of sheep , patron of the parish and finally the wreaths hung on the walls.
undefined Inside the church : Officially dedicated in honor of Saint Saturnin in 1761, Saint Sorlin was once during a pilgrimage to the Holy , dealers in cattle in the Dauphiné him making offerings.

The church was built on a rectangular plan with nave and an apse facing east. It is vaulted but does not include a dome: they imitate it by the game fresco. The building is bright because has no windows: this window ablaze. we equipped the monument in 1683 as a forum which you pass as you enter.
Choir : oldest part of the building, he of course for the centerpiece retable.Sculpté in Pine symbro, ie wood that has the distinction of not crack and smell that repels insects. It consists of six twisted columns that define three panels and support an entablature.

In the side panels, one can see two niches that house the wooden statues of St. Peter and St. Paul. The center panel was painted in 1704 by Gabriel Dufour. He represented the glorification of Saint Saturnin in the presence of angels, St. Vincent, patron saint of vineyards and St. Anne, patron saint of mothers.

undefinedAt the top of the altar, the tabernacle of the attic provides the framework for a painting of God the Father pushing Adam and Eve. Notice the leather antependium Cordova before the altar. Element of the baroque church decoration, it is a tanned leather and pressed to give them relief, painted and sewn with gold thread. At the center, we see inset representation of Saint Saturnin bishop.

Two other paintings adorn the chancel of the church. On the left, a painting by Laurent Dufour is a Madonna with Child and St. Anne accompanied the Bishop of Saint Jean de Maurienne. On the right, a representation of Falcoz Blessed Joseph, Martyr of the French Revolution, a native of Saint Sorlin.
